You can find overflowing sink or bathroom recurrent times and you are still using some DIY tools to clean your drains. You can clean your drain with hot water, detergent, and vinegar. Even you can use some plunger to clean the drain from inside, but you cannot identify the clogged area at underneath surface.   1. Your Wire Coat Hanger: This is the most simple and effective way of drain cleaning. Just take a wire coat hanger and make it as straight as you can. Bend one end to make the wire coat hanger look like the letter ‘J’. Now just put your newly created tool into the drain and start pulling out the junks that are causing the blockade. Remember you need to pull out the junk and not push it. After cleaning the drain, you need to flush your drain with plenty of water.

  2. Look into Your Kitchen Cupboard: Take out the bottle and the jar containing vinegar and baking soda respectively. Mix 2 teaspoon of baking soda with two teaspoons of vinegar. You will notice that it has started to fizz immediately, wait no more just pour it down the drain. What the fizz will do is that it will remove the junks, grim and hair which is causing the blockade. Leave it overnight and flush it with hot water the next morning.

  3. Hot water: Turn on your geyser or start boiling water on your stove. Try to boil as much water as you can. Now start pouring down the hot water into the blocked drain. Do it for two to three times taking a break of a few seconds in between. This is another easiest and efficient way to clean the block drain.

  4. Get Some Sodium Hydroxide: Before using sodium, hydroxide takes few precautions. Get a pair of rubber gloves and an eye protection gear. Take a small bucket of water mix it with 3-4 cups of sodium hydroxide and stir it with a wooden spoon. You will see that it has begun to fizz and heat up. Now pour down the solutions into the blocked drain and leave it for half an hour. After that pour down boiling water into the clogged drain. You can repeat this process if needed.

  5. Drain Cleaning Dish Washing Detergent: Unfortunately, if your toilet is blocked then just take ¼ cup of dishwashing detergent and mix it with water in a bowl. Pour down the solution in the toilet. The solution will act as a lubricant and will break down the human wastes causing the blockade. After that pour down boiling water and start plunging.
